Terms of service

Last updated: March 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using DidItWork.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

DidItWork.app is a two-sided marketplace connecting app builders ("Builders") with human testers ("Testers"). Builders submit applications for testing, and Testers find and report issues in exchange for payment.

3. User accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Builder terms

  • Builders pay upfront for testing tiers. Payments are non-refundable once testers have been assigned.
  • Builders must review submitted reports within 48 hours. Unreviewed issues are auto-accepted after this period.
  • Builders must not submit apps that contain malicious code, illegal content, or violate third-party rights.
  • Builders who consistently reject valid reports may have their reputation reduced or account suspended.

5. Tester terms

  • Testers must complete claimed test sessions within the allotted time window (2 hours).
  • Testers must submit genuine, good-faith bug reports with accurate descriptions.
  • Testers must not submit fabricated, duplicate, or spam reports.
  • Testers are paid for accepted reports. The platform retains a 20% service fee.
  • Testers must connect a valid Stripe account to receive payouts.

6. Payments

  • All payments are processed through Stripe. By using the Service, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
  • The platform charges a 20% fee on tester payouts.
  • Payouts are initiated when a Builder accepts reports or after the 48-hour auto-accept window.
  • Disputed payments will be reviewed by our team on a case-by-case basis.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit apps that contain malware, spyware, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt to manipulate the reputation system.
  • Collude with other users to inflate or deflate reputation scores.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated tools to interact with the Service without permission.

8. Intellectual property

Bug reports and test feedback submitted through the Service become the property of the Builder who commissioned the test. Testers retain no rights to their submitted reports after payment is completed.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. DidItWork.app is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to bugs found or missed during testing, payment disputes, or loss of data.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Outstanding payouts will be processed before account deletion.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
