Testers verify that lessons load in the correct order, that video and audio content plays without issues across browsers, and that supplementary materials like PDFs and downloads are accessible. AI-generated course platforms frequently have navigation bugs where completing a lesson does not unlock the next one, or where the sidebar progress indicator falls out of sync with actual completion.

Content rendering is another critical area. Testers check that rich text content, code snippets, mathematical formulas, and embedded media all display correctly. They verify that content formatting is consistent across lessons and that interactive elements like expandable sections and tabbed content work on both desktop and mobile devices.

Assessment accuracy is non-negotiable in an educational platform. Testers verify that quiz questions display correctly, that all answer options are selectable, and that the grading logic matches the correct answers. AI-generated quiz systems commonly have bugs where multiple-choice questions accept more selections than they should, where drag-and-drop interactions break on mobile, or where timed assessments do not enforce the time limit properly.

Testers also validate the grading pipeline end to end. When a learner submits an assessment, does the score calculate correctly? Does it appear in the gradebook? Do passing scores unlock the next module as expected? What happens when a learner retakes a quiz — is the best score kept, the latest score, or is the behavior inconsistent? These grading logic bugs can undermine the credibility of the entire platform.

Learners are motivated by visible progress. Testers verify that completion percentages update correctly as lessons are finished, that progress is saved when a learner leaves and returns, and that the overall course completion status accurately reflects all required activities. AI-generated platforms often lose progress when sessions expire or when learners switch between devices.

Certificate generation is the final payoff for learners and must work flawlessly. Testers verify that certificates are generated only upon genuine completion of all requirements, that they contain the correct learner name and course title, and that they can be downloaded and shared. They also check that partial completions do not trigger certificate generation and that the certificate link remains valid after it is generated.
